Acta Horticulturae

Those who wish to present a paper at the 9th International Workshop on Sap Flow are invited to submit before 15 February 2013 (extended till 28 February 2013) using the template provided at the bottom of this page.

The first page of the template is a submission form and should be completely filled out by the author. Besides general author information, this also includes indicating the name of the workshop topic (see program) and the way in which you would like to present the paper: oral presentation or poster presentation.

Each submission should minimally contain an abstract (limited to 200-300 words). Those who indicate to prefer an oral presentation are additionally expected to submit a full paper (maximum 8 pages, including references, figures and tables) for Acta Horticulturae. The paper should describe original research or work-in-progress relevant to one of the workshop topics. All submissions should use the provided template, which is prepared according to the ISHS Authors Guide - Preparing a Paper for publication in Acta Horticulturae. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will not be considered for publication. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically to submission@sapflowworkshop.info using the provided Word template (pdf not allowed) and must be in English. All poster presenters should at least submit the abstract (limited to 200-300 words), but may also submit a full paper for Acta Horticulturae. Also check the information on the special issues.

All abstracts and full papers will be evaluated by the scientific committee. By 8 March 2013 the presenting author will be notified whether the submission has been accepted, and if so, for which type of presentation: oral or poster. Moreover, comments on the full paper will be provided, allowing authors to modify the full paper where needed before the final submission deadline of 22 March 2013.

All abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts, which will be included in the conference bag. It will also be available for download during and after the workshop.

At least one of the authors (oral and poster) must register for the workshop. Failure to register by the registration deadline will result in removal of the abstract and manuscript from the program.
